Universal Electronic Fluorescent HomeStar T8 Ballast

  • The HomeStar™ ballasts by Universal Lighting has many of the same features found in commercial grade electronic ballasts but is also fully complies with FCC consumer regulations for residential applications. The ballasts utilize instant start technology that turn on lamps immediately without any initial glowing or flickering. The HomeStar ballast also operate have parallel lamp operation - which means when one lamp fails, the others remain lit so you can easily identify and replace the lamp that has failed. HomeStar ballasts also have an “A” sound rating which ensures very quiet operation and operate down to 0° F starting temperature making them suitable for garages, closets and rec rooms in most regions of the country. The HomeStar is a high efficiency ballast that meets all Energy Star® requirements.
